With musical roots going back to 1967, Deb was introduced to classical music at an early age. She received a music scholarship for her first year at the University of Nebraska but rather chose to pursue a degree in English, minoring in French. Her classical background, combined with her newfound love of Celtic music creates, at times, unexpected moods and harmonies often absent in a typical rendition of a piece. She enjoys performing at Renaissance Festivals and most any venue that will allow her interaction with her audience.

She has performed in such places as Nederland, Idaho Springs, Beaver Creek, Colorado and Arizona Renaissance Festivals, the Norman Oklahoma Medieval Fair and Evart Michigan Hammered Dulcimer Festival (with The Puckerbrush Players), the Fantasy Faire and Two Rivers Winery in Grand Junction, The Jazzy Bean and Saxby's coffeehouses, and at several weddings.

CD efforts include:

"Poet's Moon," co-composed with Keith Roberts under the band name Alterra.

Viola accopaniment on A.D. Brown's "Coming Home."

Session contribuion on Mulligan Stew's forthcoming CD.
